ACADEMIC CALENDAR
The courses in the workshop will be divided as follows
- Spring Semester: Will begin every January and will run until July.
- Fall Semester: It will begin every August and will run until December.
- Violinist Summer Session.
At the time the document entitled Violin Classes Contract is granted and the tuition payment is satisfied, each parent or guardian will receive a monthly class schedule, where they will be informed: date of monthly payment, day of individual class, recital on-line. This information will be sent via WhatsApp and or Email.
INDIVIDUAL CLASSES
The Musik Violin School, Our Little Workshop opens its doors from Monday to Friday from 8:00 am – 8:00 pm for any communication.
The individual classes have a duration of 30 or 45 minutes (according to contract). Parents are always welcome to be spectators of each class, Presencial Online since they are the “teachers at home”. Parents have the responsibility of guiding the student’s daily practice, reinforcing the concepts and exercises assigned by the teacher.
PRACTICE
Practice at home should be daily in an environment that is comfortable for the child and free from distractions. The practice not only includes playing the violin for at least 15 minutes but also daily listening to the discs and/or youtube of the Suzuki method, among others. The Suzuki method develops hearing and technique before the student learns music theory and music reading. Surrounding your child with music will help him to recognize a good tone, sound, and musicality.
As students practice, the student’s progress can be monitored. The workshop will deliver weekly video, photos, information on assignments so that the parent can use a guide when practicing with the student.
